TAOLU INFORMATION
Nordic Open Wushu Championships – Open traditional and modern Wushu taolu competition in Stockholm, Sweden.

TAOLU COMPETITION REGULATIONS

Sweden Kung fu & Wushu Federation rules for Taolu will be used at this competition, based on the 2019 set of IWUF rules.

Children (6–10 yrs)
• open hand forms: modern, traditional, internal
• open weapons: modern, traditional, internal, short, long, flexible

Cadets (11–14 yrs)
• modern hand forms girls: Changquan, Nanquan
• modern hand forms boys: Changquan, Nanquan
• modern weapons girls: Dao, Gun, Jian, Qiang, Nandao, Nangun
• modern weapons boys: Dao, Gun, Jian, Qiang, Nandao, Nangun
• traditional & internal hand forms girls: e.g. Taiji, Hunggar etc
• traditional & internal weapons boys: e.g. Taijijian, Shaolingun etc

Juniors (15–17 yrs)
• modern hand forms girls: Changquan, Nanquan
• modern hand forms boys: Changquan, Nanquan
• modern weapons girls: Dao, Gun, Jian, Qiang, Nandao, Nangun
• modern weapons boys: Dao, Gun, Jian, Qiang, Nandao, Nangun
• traditional & internal hand forms girls: e.g. Taiji, Hunggar etc
• traditional & internal weapons boys: e.g. Taijijian, Shaolingun etc

Senior categories: (18-39 yrs and 40+ yrs)
• modern hand forms women: Changquan, Nanquan
• modern hand forms men: Changquan, Nanquan
• modern weapons women: Dao, Gun, Jian, Qiang, Nandao, Nangun
• modern weapons men: Dao, Gun, Jian, Qiang, Nandao, Nangun
• traditional external hand forms women: e.g. Shaolin, Hunggar etc

• traditional internal hand forms women: Wudang, Baji, Xingyi, Bagua

• taiji hand forms women: all traditional styles of Taijiquan

Duilian Junior/senior open (15+)
• Duilian women: Fight set forms
• Duilian men: Fight set forms

NB: In case less than 3 athletes are registered in a category it will be merged together with the nearest possible category according to age and gender. If a merge still is impossible the category will be cancelled, and coaches will be notified the day after the registration deadline on November 15.

REGISTRATION FEE

Payment is done online with credit card. Swish payment is accepted for Swedish citizens.

STOCKHOLM KUNG FU FESTIVAL SHOW

• We welcome all teams or individuals in taolu to also participate in the Stockholm Kung fu festival performance show and opening ceremony.
• Preferably a team program of 2 – 3 minutes, or individual performances 20 sec – 40 sec to mix.
• To participate in the show, please send us an email to info@nordicopenwushu.se with number of persons, ages, team, and description of performance (style, forms, weapons, group etc). If you want to have your own music, please send this and a digital audio file.
